Fathers are no longer entitled to be called- fathers, uncles, brothers and nephews.  They are monsters who live among us. Very tough situation, will we ever feel safe in our societies?  We speak everyday, dialogues are held in communities but men who violate women and children walk free everyday.  Lets speak out! Police should play a vital role in communities, and community members should assist Law Officials in apprehending criminals.  Department of Justice, Social Development, SAPS, Tshwane Youth Development, SASSA, BMW South Africa and Dep. of Correctional Services just to mention few; were invited to partake in this initiative.  A pledge was signed by all stakeholders and Cllr  Eulanda Mabusela.

It's Not About Race: SA SPORTS AWARDS 2013

Racism will always bother 'us' South Africans.  But it musn't contradict ''our thinking capacity''.  My take; views on this matter. m, Feel free to add your comment!

I have enjoyed watching South Africa's Sports Awards 2013 on Sunday 17.  Those who won deserve a round of applause.  I couldn't help it, the last award 'Sports Star of the Year'!  It came as surprise, even Khune himself was overwhelmed.  Critically speaking I thought Chad Le Clos would win it.  Yes, the ''Golden Boy'' was busy as a bee throughout the year.  Le Clos was nominated along with Khune, Hashim Amla [cricketer], Lucas Sithole [tennis] and Mapaseka Makhanya [runner].

                                                 Itumeleng Khune and Minie

Itumeleng Khune, SA no1 goalkeeper, Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs captain.  As much as I am Kaizer Chiefs [Khosi4Life] supporter and admire Khune's god-given talent, I was surprised and thought the sensational Le Clos  would win it.  Khune is brilliant, awesome, the best there's in the goalkeeping department and a good leader as well.  He's role as captain, especially at Kaizer Chiefs pays off very well; he excel tremendously.

Oh! Chad Le Clos a sensational swimmer, magnificent and victorious at any level of competition.  There's nothing compared to him when it come to SA's swimming.  Le Clos is currently a record holder in 200m butterfly, which he won recently at Fina Swimming World Cup.  In 2012, he beat Michael Phelps to win a gold medal.  The 21 year-old have won multiple medals and he continues to impress us by putting SA swimming Federation on the map.

Call it what you want, mediocre maybe? I tell you Kaizer Chiefs fans voted ; the people have spoken and Khune won SA Sports Star of the Year.  Congratulations... keep up the good work.

Fearless Walk Fashion Modeling and Casting Agency: Auditions 2013

It is the steady, constant divining to the goal for which you're striving, not the speed which you travel, that will make your victory sure.  It's the evalasting gaining without a whimper or complain at the burdens you are bearing or the woes you must endure.

The exact route Fearless Walk took to be where they are today.  Who are this people? a  month ago, I had an interview with one of the male models and co-owner of the agency, Mduduzi Gift Zwane.  Fearless Walk Fashion Modeling and Casting Agency is an an organization made up by agroup young people aiming to instill and promote modeling into the township.

Many of them hail from Atteridgeville and others around areas of Pretoria.  In 2003, the agency was formed by Gabriel Madiba.  Founder and owner Madiba, who started a business of modeling during his early days at school, did not give up in seeing his company rise from nothing to a steadily success.  He later on collaborated with Zwane, a longtime friend and a business partner in order to grow the company's name.  In 2009, Fearless Walk Fashion Modeling and Casting Agency was registered.  Year went by and they started to recruit other members.

Christina Zitha, Kewine Baloyi, Victor Agri Sehume and Oscar Mampuru are some of Fearless Walk models.  They got interested in modeling, particularly by the organization which entitled them to show case their talent and become professional in modeling career.  Many of them have progressed immensely through this agency.  They have grown, excelled on various levels of their career path.  In March 30, 2013, they have hosted Mr.  and Ms.  Attlyn mall 2013.  One of their successful beauty pageant event show.

From left-side: Zwane, Tshepo Kekana, Sandile Dludlu (newest member),
Christina Zitha, Gabriel Madiba [Founder]& Kewine Baloyi

Phenomenally speaking, it is said that they got the inability to produce talent and nature it adequately  On October 26, 2013, Fearless Walk hosted auditions at Attlyn Shopping Complex in Atteridgeville, Pretoria.  Whereby they were looking for girls and boys between the ages of 15 to 28 year-old who are passionate about fashion modeling, acting, presenting, photogenic and music videos.  Young people came out in their numbers; parents as well were accompanying and supporting their teenage kids to this initiative.
Victor Agri Sehume, Zwane, Dludlu and Oscar Mampuru

It was cloudy, but managed to finish before it began to rain.  The crwd cheered contestants as they compete, doing the 'cat walking' style and bouncing movements.  Even though some of supporrtive crowd were not pessimistic about the judges and competent SA's future models, they became vaguely and biased towards judges and contestants.  Still, that didn't stop young people's optimism for participating at the event.  ''Inexperience can sometimes trouble our perception''.

                                           Optimistic contestants at Attlyn Mall

Thato Mosipha, 19, from Danville Pretoria-West was one of the contestants I interviewed at the event.  I asked her how she found out about the auditions for modeling, she pleasantly said from Foundation Christian church; where she attends.  ''I recently did some modeling with Multi-Hand Production in Hammaskraal, Pretoria'', said Thato.  The beautiful young lady came all the way from Danville hoping and praying to be noticed and signed by the agency.

The 19 year-old, Mosipha started modeling in 2010, at her high school.  Due to school work commitments she she had to stop; put more focus in her school work.  She is currently studying at Intec College, Electrical Engineering course and it's her first year.  ''This year, that is when I reconsidered again'', said Mosipha making a comeback on Saturday to auditions for modeling.

She was accompanied by her younger sister, Tshepiso Mosipha.  And I asked if her parents are supportive, she proudly said yes, ''they gave me their blessing to be here''.  She has done a research first about the agency and advices others to do that before encountering problems.  Positive Thato want to gain more experience in modeling as a part-time career and hopes that she could go far with it.  Her experience with Fearless Walk Agency, ''they are very welcoming; productive too and would recommend someone to join... signup with them, explained Thato.

Her motto: I can even if it seems more difficult to reach, I go for it.

I thought I was done for the day, and I then saw this young man stirring at me.  Minutes later, he came to sit next to me.  That's when we started to talking, I then did an interview with him.  Thapelo John Mashishi, 18, hail from Atteridgeville West, Extention 6.  He attend school at Bokgoni Technical Secondary school and he is a former Mr.  Confidence Attlyn 2013, which was held in March 30.  Mashishi firmly said he's a big fan and a close friend of Tiego Ndhlovu, a contestant from SA's Got Talent show 2012.

The 18 year-old said to have been inspired by his late uncle, a former model at his teen years; who passed away in 2007.  The Mashishi's family is very approval of their son's talent in modeling.  In 2012, John's mom came along with her friends to support him at the beauty pageant show for Mr.  and Ms.  Bokgoni.  ''It was a surprising moment for me'', said John.

Thapelo is a God fearing young man, whenever I asked him a question 10minute wouldn't pass without mentioning God's presence and miracles that are happening in his life; holly moments.  "Through Christ everything is possible, if you only believe'', said John.  His motto: You always have to be punctual, have a criteria motive in life and be courageous; humble yourself around people and accommodate others.  Most importantly fear God!

Sponsorship of the day was Red Bull energy drink in partnership with Cell-C 'THE POWER IS IN YOUR HAND' network mobile services.  Fearless Walk approached them at their store, gave them their proposal in request to be assisted with drinks and other services provided.  Nathi Phetla, a regional store manager for Cell-C under franchiser Matqic 985 at Attlyn mall explained how their services assist young entrepreneurs like Fearless Walk Agency.

''We provide them with a free 200MB Monthly* X12 month, which enables them to stay connected and it is a good initiative, they are doing a marvelous job by keeping children away from the streets'', said Phetla.

                                                           Natji Phetla

'Today, we are pushing our brands as well and it's a pefect market'', added Phetla.
