THE YEAR 2015 CONCLUDES

'A year of sacrifices, misfortunes and discontent'.
In South Africa, our president became a hard talk conversation. President Jacob Zuma's discontent mounted when he decided to axe Minister of Finance Nhlanhla Nene.

ECONOMIC STRUGGLE-  As if the nation was not stunned enough, after Nene's axing the rand plummeted to record lows. We have seen various protests emerging in numbers this year, the students movement in Higher Education marching for free education #FeesMustFall trended on social network. Rivalry between   President Jacob Zuma's supporters and those calling for his removal  (the anti-Zuma) wrestled it out on Twitter using hashtags  #HandsOffZuma #ZumaMustfall #ANCWLmarch #Nkandla and #PayBackTheMoney certainly It's freedom of speech.

GLOBAL NEWS- Civil War in Islamic States dramatically excalated. Extremists continued to flourish across the world. Around one million refugees and migrants, many fleeing  war and poverty in Middle East, Asia and Africa, entered the European Union this year according to the United Nations.

Above all these, myself ended 2015 with a bag! At the awaited Birthday Party of my best friend Mildred, whom I have known for 23 years. We had an incredible journey together, and I am blessed to have her in my life.

Thanks❤💚💖💛❤ Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

NOT SO GRACE AFTER ALL

Zimbabwe's First Lady made vicious  comments regarding women and types of clothes they wear.

'Women are to be blamed for rape'- by Grace Mugabe; the controversial statement reads as follows
"If you walk around wearing miniskirts display your thighs and invite men to drool over you, then you want to complain when you have been raped. If you are raped, it's your fault.  Wear clothes like Mai Mugabe or you can choose a trousers, but not those which are too tight. These types of clothes are the signs of moral decadence in our country. It's unfortunate because it will be your fault."

Sadly we often cling to our belief system even if those beliefs makes us miserable.  Perhaps this is because knowing where we stand- even if we convince ourselves that reality is very bleak.

Shame on her, women are raped even wearing longskirts. There is no difference in the comments she made. What about grannies and infants? Where they wearing miniskirts when raped? Certainly not, they were wearing longskirts and nappies. Not forgetting children between age 2 to12 and so on- what about them... do they invite men to drool over them? That's insulting for me, impractical and immoral too.

Is people like you who creates dangerous societies by infiltrating such unethical and bad echoes without acknowledging reality or  the truth of it first. So Mrs Mugabe use your common sense and stop with your illusions.

PIRATES HELD TO A DRAW

When it comes to derby, I can't make up my mind. Knowingly enough where my heart belongs to, but my mind says something else ☺.

There's something spectacular about Orlando Pirates FA. They are eagerly passionate and fearless to compete elsewhere in the world, but more importantly they play as a unit.

UPDATES: CONFEDERATION CUP 2015

A late equaliser dented Orlando Pirates hopes of lifting the second continental trophy when Amar Jamel Sahel's stand-in captain scored a goal in 3 minutes remaining.

Away goal is an advantage for Etoile, and Buccaneers will now have to score in Sousse to stand any chance of coming back with a win. Striker Thamsanqa Gabuza's goal had put Pirates in front in the 36th minute. But one sleep of a second caused Pirates to draw the match against E'toile Sportive du Sahel in the first leg at Orlando Stadium, Johannesburg last night.

"Having conceded at home is what we didn't want to do. But we also didn't want to loseit 1-0 and have to chase two goals, " said coach Eric Tinkler.

The second leg will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Sousse in Tunisia on November 29.

THE MOMENT THE WORLD STOOD STILL

Xenophobic Attacks

{sourced_shocking scenes}: Emmanuel Sithole's brutal attack images -photographed by James Oatway, Sunday Times newspaper.
How quick can things change? From peaceful and harmonious stable country, to violent; disruptive and deadliest society.  It was on that day, the most shocking revelation ever been seen.  In April 2008, the world witness large scale of xenophobic attacks in different communities of South Africa.  Foreigners were attacked, injured and some were killed.

Many foreigners are in South Africa as asylum seekers due to wars and other socio-economic problems in their countries.  However, South African people struggle to understand this.  At the beginning it seemed as a fury towards our fellow African brothers and sisters; then hatred mounted and mobs were created which led to attacks.

The attacks began in the mid-day across Gauteng areas, angry and furious mob walked into foreigner’s shops particularly Somalia’s tuck shops attacking them; vandalizing property and looting.  Some of mob members were shot, others wounded and some were killed, in self defence foreigners fought back.  Foreigners were accused of ‘’stealing work from locals’’ in a difficult economic climate.  Somali small traders and entrepreneurs specifically were accused of undercutting the prices of the locals and many of them were killed.

The hope of Africa is in South Africa.  Whatever fails in South Africa sends bad message to other countries especially in European countries.  Violence is giving a bad image about the beauty of South Africa, consequently during 2008, foreign investors lapsed.   Up to this point the xenophobic violence continues in various parts of societies.  Even though government condemns senseless killing brought by xenophobia people still persist.

The smell of death, bodies burned, laying on the ground and brutally killed.   Many foreigners flew from the areas they were living in; few remain behind because they had nowhere to go and this brought fear to tourist to tour South Africa.  Tourist enhances the economy of a country, the environment was not conducive at that moment and we experience economic setback.    The whole scenario tarnished the image of South Africa, and left scares in foreigners predominantly those who lost their loved ones in xenophobic attacks.  People across the world were shocked by this act of violence and many feared to travel to our country.

“Just like any other country,  South Africa managed to restore calm in communities by educating people about migration and immigration policies. ‘Each one teach one campaign’ was created to teach society in larger, but there were those who bluntly ignored it and still today they do not accommodate foreigners” –Nelly Portia.

Fast forward, 2015, South Africa battles yet another Xenophobic Attacks in Gauteng and Kwa-Zulu Natal (Durban) provinces. This comes after months of unrest attacks among different races in the country.  South Africans are in fights with Foreign nationals due to high unemployment and several spaza shops opened in the townships.  Who instigated the war? Is there a ring ‘leader’ who initiates the killings, vandalizing of foreign owned business and properties in both provinces? Hard-core questions needs to be answered, and without a substantial proof, the will be no case and a day in court.

International Headlines: Xenophobic South Africa

"He  will be deeply missed", said Emmanuel's family.

The brutal death of Mozambique national Emmanuel Sithole on April 18,2015.  Sithole was attacked and stabbed to death by a group of four men in Alexandra township north of Johannesburg on Saturday.  The gang approached him in the streets, they started beating and stabbing him in the chest.  Helplessly, he collapsed on the pavement bleeding intensely.  The perpetrators fled the scene on foot...whiles community was watching from far in fear of being stabbed too, Sunday Times Photographer James Oatway and colleagues rushed to help Sithole.  Sadly, he later died from his wounds. Three culprits were arrested on Sunday, while the fourth was apprehended last night.   The case has been postponed to next month, May 4.

The 'outspoken' Pietersen, didn't waste time to hammer England's squad, posted a tweet on his account: ''I just cannot believe this! But, well done to Bangladesh you deserve it!

This is England's 3rd time exit, and 89th time in the group stages in five World Cups.

''I'm gutted at the moment', said England skipper Eoin Morgan.  There will be an inquest over the next few weeks as to what has happened there'', he added.

The winning captain Mashraf said after winning the match:  ''I always tell the press conference once  we come into Australia, we never though that much crowd will come and support us, but it was amazing to see that people all over the world, even though they are coming to the ground and keep supporting us''

Bangladesh posted 275-7 in Adelaide.  Hero of the day and man of the match, was batsman Mohammad Mahmudullah  scored 103 off 138 balls.

THE SONA

Would it sound nice to hear president Jacob Zuma's state of the nation address read the way majority of South Africans want to hear?
Jacob Zuma
Imagine president Zuma's speech is read as follows today in the evening: Fellow South Africans, I stand before you today to inform you that I am stepping down as the President of Republic of South Africa.

I am handing in my resignation with an immediate effect. Above all this, I would like to apologies for all the wrongs I have done.  It has been riveting journey for me though I have tremendously failed you my people.

As number 1, I also don't like what's happening in our beautiful country at the moment.  Due to my lack of leadership I have created unnecessary tension among races.

Communication is not my thing, off which I had struggled to initiate from the beginning.  Lastly, I will pay back the money!

I thank you for your time•

News Rap: 'HALF MAN~HALF AMAZING' TOP BILLING STAR SIMBA MHERE•

"He was going places.  He was the most amazing human being. Gentle, kind and loving; honest, hard-working.  He was everything; he was the most extraordinary person.  I saw him on Thursday and I always used to kiss him on the neck and always used to love it and shake, says Lorraine Meizel- Mhere's manager.

A prayer for family and friend of the late Simbarashe Mhere and Kady-Shay O'Bryan. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families, friends and colleagues.  The untimely death of Top Billing star sparked shock and disbelieve to many SABC 3 viewers and the public in large.

It happened so quick; just after two days of celebrating his journey to stardom and successful career as much adored presenter alongside his colleague Jonathan Boynton-Lee.  On Thursday, January 29 Top Billing 'took a walk down memory lane' of Simba and Jonathan by taking us back to their successful stories of becoming a presenter on the show.

I personally didn't know Mhere, but believe me when I say 'I was there in 2010, at the Melrose Arch hotel in Johannesburg for the Top Billing Presenters search Auditions'.
Top Billing Presenters
"Can't believe my brother is gone", said Jonathan Boynton-Lee on 3Talk show on Monday. Boynton-Lee said, he accompanied Mhere's father to the mortuary to identify Simba's body. Emotionally as it is, he couldn't hold back tears when speaking with the host show Noeleen Maholwana-Sangqu.  It was an emotional tribute show, and heartbreaking to watch.

Simbarashe Mhere was born on October 29, 1988 in Zimbabwe.  His parents moved to South Africa when he was just 1-year-old. The 26-year-old joined Top Billing in 2010 after winning the presenter search.  Mhere was traveling to OR Tambo International Airport with his father Joseph and his friend; 29-year-old Journalist Kady-Shay O'Bryan when the head-on collision took place. Joseph Mhere survived the car crash.

"He just went straight and crossed the barrier on the middle island and collided with Simba's car", said JMPD(Johannesburg Metro Police Department) spokesperson Edna Mamonyane elaborating on how the accident occurred.   Meanwhile, the driver of VW Polo is now charged with two counts of culpable homicide.

A memorial service will be held this Thursday at the Rhema Bible Church in Randburg from 15:00 to 17:00pm.  The funeral will take place at the Rhema Bible Church on Saturday, February 7 at the Rhema Bible Church in Randburg at 09:00am, and he will be laid to rest at the Westpark Cemetery in Roosevelt Park.

News Rap: THE LAST HOPE

A FORTITUDE JOURNEY TO MANOEUVRE

Based on true story: Fearless Walk Fashion Modeling and Casting Agency in collaboration with Motheo Production brings you a short film of Xenophobic Attacks in South Africa.

It was in April 2008 when the world witnessed a large scale of Xenophobic Attacks in townships of Johannesburg. The streets of Gauteng province were swallowed by riots and death. It proceeded till today. Whiles, Motheo Production together with Fearless Walk Fashion Modeling and Casting Agency hosted auditions on Saturday 24, looking for actors who can relive Hlozukwazi's journey.

Hlokukwazi is the leading role in the film of Murambastving, meaning xenophobia events in South Africa. She's a Zimbabwean lady and teacher who comes to South Africa for a better life. Only to find the similar conditions she ran away from, and despite challenges met along the way she remained hopeful 'trying to fight despair and agony'.
Future Actors and Actresses
The film is age restricted movie because it's content of violence, nudity and language. People from the age of 18-30 were recommended to audition for the movie. The shooting will be in middle of February, and its in subtitle too. A group of youthful and ambitious people auditioned for different roles, but few will be chosen to show case their talent in acting.

In 2010, Zanu-PF and Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe had orchestrated operation-clean up against opposition party members and supporters. People were chased away, bitten and arrested. Due to devious actions and civil criminal acts brought upon Zimbabwe people, many of them flee to South Africa.

In hope for a better future things got worse compared to where she came from. Hlokukwazi and her fellow country men were violated, de-humanized, called names, burnt to death and murdered by South African citizens. The shocking revelation and mob violence attacks against foreigners.

Hatred mounted towards our fellow African people. Some stayed in hope for a change, whereas others fled to neighbouring communities and abroad as well. Isolation is felt and struggle to make ends meet in a foreign country deepens...trials and tribulations, havoc and love can all this be her only salvation? '

Survival is what we fight for!

Scenarios and characters: Villains, vicious, intolerant, rude, humble, obnoxious, noxious, arrogant, glitches, schemes, criminal elements, mismanagement, justice prevalence and heroes! I don't want to reveal much, stay tuned to be captivated spiritually and emotionally.

ANFIELD CAREER ENDS...

"You'll never walk Alone"- Liverpool's slogan.

It's has been confirmed: Steven Gerrard to leave the club at the end of the 2014-2015 season. Captain 'loyalty' will walk alone abroad for new greener pasture. Gerrard is expected to join LA Galaxy amid interest from other MLS clubs.- writes David Anderson of Mirror Sports.

He will be offered 20million to join booming MLS in America. The 34 year-old made his debut for the Reds in November 1998, and has never looked back since then.

On Friday 2, Gerrard issued a statement on his decision to leave Liverpool Football Club. It reads as follows:
Steven Gerrard

"This has been the toughest decision of my life and one which both me and my family have agonized over for a good deal of time.

"I am making the announcement now so that the manager and the team are not distracted by stories or speculation about my future.

"Liverpool Football Club has been such a huge part of our lives for so long and saying goodbye is going to be difficult, but I feel it's something that's in the best interest of all involved, including my family and the club itself.

"I'm going to carry on playing and although I can't confirm at this stage where that will be, I can say it will be somewhere that means I won't be playing for a competing club and will not therefore be lining up against Liverpool-that is something I could never contemplate.

Gerrard made 695 appearance and scored 180 goals to date since joining the club's youth system aged eight. In 2001, he made his international debut for the England National Football team.
