Lets have a conversation about it_Freedom is the ability to choose your own goals with wisdom, And then act decisively to pursue them, Without being shackled by the dictates of the others or your own weaknesses -Avrahm Greenbau

Where are we as the nation? To be honest things are not great as we hoped after a democratic government.  After 1994, elections we became a unit  and the pretenders as well... everyone was on board, except one thing!  The forgotten heroes,  soldiers and noble man remained where they were before, didn't pick up the pieces broken by enemies.  They have never regained a concession withheld by the former government.

When all is sad and done, no one wants to take a blame.  Who benefited mostly? Why are we not functioning as the society especially a country, where is that one unit nation?  "Let freedom rain" Lets talk about it, various problems; ranging from politics to child paedophiles.

Food For Thought
The winner is always part of the answer
The loser is always part of the problem
The winner always has a program
The loser has an excuse
The winner says: 'Let me do it for you'!
The loser says: 'It's not my job'
The winner sees an answer for every problem
The loser sees a problem for every answer
The winner sees a green near every green
The loser sees two sand traps near every green
The winner says: ''It may be difficult, but it is possible"
The loser says: "It may be possible, but it's too difficult"

Few months back, The Film and Publication Board were in feud with the "Good Reporter" film about the depicts of child child pornography.  The film makers ague that their story line does not portray  and inflict any sexual harm to the children, it's about reality.  This things are happening under our watch and should be shared, shown and allow the audience to comment.  By doing this we will be able to engage everyone and attend those problems we have as a nation.

The ban was lifted, the Film and Publication Board lost an appeal again.  Irritating enough, the board viewed the film for only 28 minutes whereas the film is about 104 minutes.  Early conclusions were made at the Durban International Film Festival ceremony  "Of Good Report" film.  Questions were raised about pornographic materials, it seemed as if it is a no talking zone.  Sex is still a taboo to South Africans, various platforms given to us, but we don't make use of them.

"I have a responsibility for every single person who watches my film that even if I shake their very cora, I must not violate them", said Jahmil X.T. Qubeka, film director.  The film is about a sixteen year-old schoolgirl Nolitha, their character names and Park Sithole, a schoolteacher.  They get involve sexually, and for the first 28 minute sexual encounter the board got offended stating the film as a child pornography.  Shaheda Omar, Teddy Bear Clinic director was fumed as well "It's mimic and children will be exposed to and would want to experience it, what is shown in this film".

We shy away from the truth, why not talk about it.  Children want to be informed either way they are growing up and issues like this should be tackled.  Child pornography is a criminal offence, child paedophiles are everywhere.  Media has its own positive and negative scenarios, but there are educational as well which assist and kids benefit from those channels.  We must not argue about minor things.

Sexism and sexiest behaviour: Another big problem we face as South Africans.  On Lindiwe Sisulu, she is an Ambassador for South Africa in Zimbabwe for SADC [ a member of facilitation team]. This comes after she commented about Zimbabwe's Government, therefore presidency and Zuma distanced themselves from Robert Mugabe's comment.  Instead of standing up for her and support her from the sittuation they distance themselves.  That was sexiest mentality, nothing was said to protect Zulu.  "Idiotic street women", said Robert Mugabe Zimbabwe President.

Who can forget SADTU hang an underwear in discripting Angie Motshega Minister of Education?  It was justice disperative towards women, disrespectful, disgusing and distasteful as well.  Who are this men, what kind of role are they playing towards young men in South Africa and what kind of  legacy they would want to leave?  Messiful one, boys must be taught to respect  women not insult and humiliate them at home even publicly.  Morals and selfworth could benefit future men.

'The country is judged by how it treats it's women'.  Fathers of tomorrow, leaders of tomorrow, generation-X... we are far from reaching inequality.   Sexiest mentality destroy trust between men and women, Sisulu was insulted as a woman and ANC [African National Congress] distance themselves instead of protecting her, one of their cadre.  A major role should have been played by the presidency to prevent such things to occur in future.

Last month in Gauteng, six child paedophiles were arrested.  In raids, police seize porn material and amongst those are former headmaster, lawyer and teacher.  Respected people in our society behave like this!  Sleep with one eye open... no one to be trusted. "We are in this together"  as we celebrate Heritage month on the 24 September.
