Chiefs players celebrating

15th time-top eight trophy winners, #MTN8CHAMPIONS at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.   An impressive start for Amakhosi this season 2014/2015.  Will the keep the momentum going, only time can tell. And the young keeper Brilliant Khuzwayo, who lived up to his name.  Brilliant, kept Pirates players from scoring goals brilliantly isn't?

Keeper-Brilliant  KHUZWAYO

''Khuzwayo is a quality keeper... I heard people say that if he plays, he will be the weak link,'' said Tshepo Masilela  Chiefs Defender.  Chiefs players were in the game, from the moment a whistle blow.    Whereas, Pirates seemed distracted by something.  They were not at their best on Saturday, and failed to impress coach Vladimir Vermezovic ''VV who has signed a three-year contract with the club.  ''I don't think my players are scared of final games, I hope we are going to reach another final very soon, and we'll see'', said Vermezovic.

The goal came after 28 minute when the defender Tefu Mashamaite met a George Maluleka free kick.  The match ended 1-0, no penalties this time around!
