Tributes were said by the provincial government, fellowships, family member and Premier of KZN Senzo Mchunu. Teammates, Orlando Pirates players sang his favourite songs. Mourners cheered, sang, exulted, cried and celebrated his life by saying their last goodbye to the captain.
Meyiwa leaves behind, parent, three sisters, one brother, wife and three children.
